Half the stuff on there is not even legal. $30,000 and I might be “difficult” and they can kick me out and keep my money?

I have no idea how or why folks would receive rents and stuff in their own name. 

I personally, being on the NAR Board, at multiples levels of the organization, and being heavily involved on the lobbying/legal side have been way ahead of the curve on this stuff. 

I like the idea of short/mid term rentals more then the long term...one big reason is not having to move all of his stuff...or at least being able to take my time.

Had been in the same family since built in 1918 so was absolutely full of stuff!

For the ongoing/routine items, I'm less sure - though have a pretty good idea of some routine stuff, like lawn mowing, other things feel like a complete guess, like how many plumbing calls will I'll need per year per unit? 

I'm an HVAC contractor and I just had to order a simple $100 control board and it took two weeks to arrive.

Incidentally, $2k is very reasonable for all the stuff you mentioned.

Can't make this stuff up!
