But, and I have no idea if this is the case here, some TK companies pretend to have tenants and it might be vacant or they let someone stay as a freeby, to make it look occupied.

It's rude and takes away from the point of the forums. which is why I posted a link to the issues that highlight the problem of assignments.On the flip side, to censure negative comments and pretend that positive hype is the only thing to be heard on BP is a major disservice to the OP. 

If I didn't like the job part of it, I would do something else, because pretending RE is not work is only setting yourself up for failure.

Maybe pretend to be a potential renter yourself, although I like to think most agents would give you an honest answer either way. 

For example, you may own it 50/50, but pretend Mom was retired.
