Back when i was deciding on what to do i was debating between real estate and nursing and this was around the time when the market was very stale and many of the RE agents i knew growing up were struggling in the profession... so i went the other route for stability.....My question is this, how many peeps on here are prior nurses that switched over... dont get me wrong i enjoy the nursing profession in regards to helping people, but i feel that my body cant handle the labor as i had 5 knee surgeries while in the service and boy my knees have been crying since becoming an RN along with my back with heavier patients and my mental state with the annoying or aggrevating patients who just dont care....Also what do yall do when your not able to sell, to maintain a sustainable living between houses?

Inkster is close by, but we'd never go into inkster.anyway, the short story was.... the payoff amount was around 37k. the house is in terrible condition, so the agent had it listed for 25k. i was the highest offer at 30k, so i had it under contract for a few months. the banks didn't approve the SL and the agent said the homeowner might not make it much longer. so i just gave them what they owed on the house, $36k+ and we closed on it today.i dont have inside pics cause i didn't bring my nice camera, but i will take some pics and post them. the expected rent in this area for a 2 bed will be around 900, hope to get $950 if we can push it. we'll see. it needs everything... top to bottom. it was not a horder's house, but pretty close to it. it might have over 400 plastic bags and maybe 200 cans of pringels. also, lots and lots of shot gun shells. lots!

@Randy WalkinsFor most people, taking that first step is the hardest part - It gets much easier after that - In my opinion, that is why the GURU programs make so much money - nothing we do here is Rocket Surgery, but a lot of people need their hand held before they feel comfortable to take that first step - Congratulations and good luck to you
