Wholesaling may be a good way to get your foot in the door while making some money.

I mentioned the $1850 because I'm not sure if that puts me in the low end rentals, mid range, or high end. rentometer says I'm about average for my area.Also if anyone is familiar with Northern Virginia area and has a contractor that can handle a 3 story townhouse or know where I can can purchase a descent deal on carpet and padding (not to sure of average price per square foot here) please feel free to message me.thanks for the advice

Hello my name is Mackenzie I am looking for good advice and a little help on how to get started and get my foot in the door with investing in Realestate.

As a young adult in NYC I am looking to get my foot in the door in the real estate market and would like to know where to start.

I averaged out similar properties cost per square foot and the avg is $1.24/Sq Ft. ......

Now, we're not talking an 18 foot deep high dive pool down there...it might be 1" - 2" deep (but, I'm still trying to decipher the photo from my inspector and get a hold of him).It also (oddly) looks to be on top of a sheet of plastic.

Why not move in, get your footing and get to know your tenants?
