They are afraid to borrow disaster funds they may never be able to pay back if their businesses don’t rebound.This black swan event hit everyone.

Will be happy to start investing in real estate once it starts offering higher discount than the stock market.I guess most people would have planned for the impending recession (albeit not via a black swan event) based on their personal situation and risk tolerance.

C-19 is a black swan if there ever was one. 

Don't underestimate the power we have when we come together, this has been demonstrated throughout history in many movements: Civil Rights, Women's Suffrage, Black Lives Matter etc. etc.As it stands today we have not recieved any relief from our mortgage company and will be expecting rent on the first as usual.

I think just to board it up, with no electricity, and let it sit there as a dump for 3-5 years while you wait to profit off of the appreciation is the kind of thing that gives absentee landlords a black eye.

The 6 % on the buy and sell of a property is $6000 for every 100k so one property a year and I am in the black as far as investment.

So I have taken a page from that play book.. about summer of 2018 when things slowed we started to pivot to as much cash as possible I even changed my REIA presentation i make throughout the year and named it the PIVOT.. i was thinking 6 months ago i missed and of course I did no one really saw this black swan coming and its something new every day.
