My long term goal for real estate is to get into business with the most luxurious real estate such as multi million dollar homes, 5 star hotels, casinos, resorts etc. 

But it's still a pretty rough neighborhood.Only 5 of these have sold on the MLS in the last 8 years (nothing in the past year) for over $250K including the fully restored, 9500 sf, Spencer-Eccles Mansion for $528K in 2013.If you're passionate about the architecture and willing to stick it out 5-10 years you may look like a genius.  

I know broke people driving luxury cars. 

Hey BP,I've been getting a lot of deals in Strawberry Mansion and Kensington areas recently.

Since I have the luxury of time, I thought I'd put my own home up for sale by owner while my home is being built.  

I see it as a potential mold mansion.

Unless the courthouse steps are ultra competive like they are here.

She owns a couple rentals in "less than desirable" areas of town, meanwhile living in a mansion in a nice suburb.I know this lady is up to no good.  

I keep a paper-free office because I don't have the luxury of a file cabinet ( the Twins would have taken it apart ).  

The question I have is, in order to make it rent ready and not to spend too much to make it look so luxurious, what are the basic things that a rental home will need with low maintenance.
