Pete Beach, Treasure Island, and Mad Beach (Madeira) each have their own short term rental regulations with Madeira Beach being the most inexpensive as well as the most highly regulated in that regard.

Usually the Treasurer/Tax Collector is the best place to start, but in some cases you can get it from the Assessor or even the IT Administrator as well (it works a little different in every county, so it can take a lot of patience and persistence with many of the county offices out there).
