What do you care what your property value is at any random point in time if it continues to pay for itself and put money in your pocket.

There is some credence to that as there are a ton of random threads where one new investor bashes his Property Manager because he doesn't know any better and then a whole hoard of other random new investors who also have no clue jump on board and start some long Property Manager bashing.

Everyone single person who discourages you from getting in real estate either doesn't have the courage to do it themselves or they have a random great uncle or third cousin who bought a house in a low income area and surprisingly the tenant tore the house up and didn't pay etc...You truly are the average or reflection of the five closest people around you.

Picking any house at random in the town and you will get a different tax rate in relation to its tax assessment.

Might as well find a random homeless person defecating on the sidewalk and hand him your deed.

I thought about #6 but it seems time intensive in terms of researching and in due diligence etc, (unless you have any easy way Pat ) curious if you did analysis ahead or you just picked it randomly at auction, (here we need the check of exact bid amount)here in bay area, what if I get a land on mountain or on slope so more parameter to check.

If I go with a single person but my cleaning needs are random - a Friday here, a Wednesday there, etc. - is that going to be too hard for them to handle?
