Tyler good luck with low income tenant type properties.

I've found that there are markets that have a balance of decent cashflow and decent appreciation and that's the type of market I eventually decided to invest in.I'm not too familiar with the different markets down there but I'd highly recommend looking into Candor Realty. 

I want to give them the benefit of the doubt they are just struggling with staffing but now have seen some red flags that lead me to believe there might also be some type of deceit/fraud and possible financial trouble.

I don’t want my lack of experience with motels to stand in the way of making this opportunity a success.I’m primarily looking to connect with investors or operators who have experience with motels to learn more about this asset type.

What type of properties are you looking to acquire to scale your portfolio?

What made you interested in investing in this type of deal?

Anyone extra cautious with these types of investments right now?  

I purchased sub2 a handful of times for fix-and-flip types of situations, where I was in and out of the deal in 3 months.  

What type of properties are you seeking; SFH, Condos, Townhomes, Duplexes, 3/4 plex, ect.  

The property cash flows and I could definitely see each investor making at least $1000/mo with the most hands-off approach of renting to an operator and much more if a person ran it as STR or LTR and it is a great diversification play for me as Costa Rica should see much better appreciation than the Midwest, but if I were to cash out I could see five times the cash flow because of the power of leverage.But I think you hit the nail on the head in saying that it is a lifestyle type of investment.
