More foreclosures might be coming after the Covid forbearances and foreclosure postponements....but lots of equity now in many if not most homes, so foreclosure is typically not the issue it once was right now.REOs are also not always the best deals too, like most people think they are...typically not pennies on the dollar.

The auction house conducting the auction will typically list them on their website.You can google for auction companies, such as JJ Manning, Commonwealth, etc.Before you head to the auction, make sure to check with the auction company at the last minute, because most auctions are postponed or cancelled.

@Brett Goldsmith I am trying to determine who actually owns my loan.I have religiously filed loan modification for almost 8 yrs - with NO approval or denial - only a new foreclosure sale date - all of which were postponed/canceled.

We are wondering if we could ask the BP community for ideas and advice on securing purchase, rehab, and misc funds.We were thinking of establishing an LLC, but I think we'll postpone that until we have some working capital to avoid additional credit issues.I believe we both have 750+ credit scores, modest 401k/403bs, and modest home equity.

There are at times factors involved as to why some of the people you see may be due for 2 payment (this sounds a little suspicious being that the homeowners must be due for 3 payments or more (unless we are talking about a balloon note come due) and if there was a previous arrangement set up the lender would have to begin to the process all over again) or due for 7 months.A lender may request postponements and those may be for unlimited time periods in MN.
