He outlines one technique that does effectively avoid the extra transfer taxes, but it won't work in every circumstance, and an expert (not me) from my part of the state didn't think it would fly if used too frequently - but on occasion it would do the trick.

This agent is the one that will give opinion of exit value so that you can compare their evaluation to yours and keep you safe.Now, when dealing with agents that can bring deals, never bring up the conversation of getting your listings on the back end, but when they do bring it up, you inform them that on occasion, you can offer that, but typically, your list agent for resales does "all kinds of upfront work for you for free and in advance and thus you are obligated to them morally and ethically to continue to give them your resale listings.
