I am currently an MBA student and have a year left before I graduate. 

Having finished my MBA in Finance and additional courses beyond that in Real Estate including real estate accounting, and tax software on the market, I figured I know enough, taxes are simply typing numbers onto forms, so why on earth would I pay nearly a thousand a year in CPA fees.

I plan to come home in 2026 with money, an ideal set for entrepreneurship, an MBA, and a drive to get on active duty from guard.

I've been to MB a few times (mother used to live there until she became ill and I moved her back here to CA).

An attorney, finance degrees, MBA, financial training in any specific areas other than guru stuff?

There are some details I left out because this feels like an essay already. lol But feel free to ask me any questions.  

When I first started out, I thought of something similar because I was going to do my MBA out of state and I held off purchasing a property because of that mindset, and eventually, I didn't need to get an MBA, so it was a waste all of those years renting.

@ Johnny KangIf you are investing in local retail type businesses, unfortunately, there are no useful metric, as it encompasses a number of factors.There's nothing like GRM, Capex etc. like in real estate, I wrestled with this through the years, even though I have an MBA in finance.I looked at dry cleaners and laundromats, and asking prices range from 2 to 3 times annual income, combined with whatever machinery or equipment comes with it.
