.- State and local aid: The legislation provides $350 billion to states, local governments, territories and tribes.- Tax credits: The bill increases the child tax credit from $2,000 to $3,600 for each child under 6 and $3,000 for each child under age 18.That’s just a start.It’s not law yet though.How is everyone else handling all of these changes and tax updates?

I would go with the first person that applied and qualified/passed screening and i would dbl check local laws to ensure how you are to process applications (usually in the order received and you dont charge them for background check until you get to them)  this will protect you from discrimination complaints and is what is usually recommended or legislated

It is possible they extend it in future legislation, but the COVID relief act they just passed (COVIDTRA) does not extend the original CARES Act provision.
