I agree with Matt and Jason.Even in Sea to Sky district where no foreign buyers tax apply, sales are down on detached homes and it's now buyer's market.

However, in some historic districts you have no choice but to replace with original materials; you should make sure this doesn't apply to your situation.

Schools in The Woodlands (I think Conroe ISD), Cy-Fair ISD, and Katy ISD are sought after school districts, if you are looking to factor that in.
