Some owners want everything super sharp, work done by licensed contractors etc and others want the band-aid approach by a handyman.

I'd rip the band-aid off and move on to the next one.

It would be like taking a job with a terrible salary because the health care coverage was great. 

But it's when the politicians step in, without any clue of how to run a business or how hard it is in the real world, try to make the laws as band aid attempts to get votes. 

You also have a diversification in industries providing jobs in the MSA although a majority still come from health-care, schools, government and transportation/distribution, agriculture and research just to name a few.Why does it matter?
