That's a rough area Tim......You're going to be dealing with an uphill battle getting quality folks to take on a property like that one.

How fast you can get quality tenants, and how much cash flow they can provide.

The purpose for setting it up as a STR was simply to help defray the cost of owning and maintaining the property, but again we feel that the time we put into it is taking away from our quality of life with our family/kids.We're looking for advice on what to do with the property.

.)- DSCR Loans - typically your best bet if you don't quality (or have "outgrown") conventional or looking to scale a portfolio or diving into more specialized markets. 

As a new real estate investor this is simply too large a project for me to try and tackle, but I know this forum is full of quality investors who care about their tenants and are always looking for a deal!

If they can present quality information describing why they need the capital, what the current state of the asset is, how this capital will be used to solidify the asset - then at least I can evaluate the capital call and make a decision to participate or not. 

Get up to 6-7 quality houses, sell 1 and re-fi one after 10 years.
