Lincoln Park is in Wayne county and is a mixture of residential and apartments throughout.Other areas may include Pontiac, Oakland County (higher taxes there though), Eastpointe, Rosedale, Eastside (University District) and Warren.Apartments are harder to find and often sold privately from among investors.

But the end result is different.Land Value Has Doubled, but the price of corn has gone through the roof, so nobody really even wants to sell because they are making boatloads of money right now!

Having a mixture is probably best, that way you have more options and versatility for how to pay unexpected costs, repairs, or capital expenditures.
