Hi @Lee Jedlicka, acquiring the W9 sooner rather than later is a great simplifying move for you, and considering they are “surprised” (which is true of most of the contractors in my area, too) it means they are probably going to require a LOT of follow up and coaxing to actually fill it out later, so save yourself some grief and have them return it to you now :)

To put it in very simplified terms, if you sell for 700K with 350k in proceeds remaining, all you need to do is invest 350K total in various DST's that have financed around 50% of the underlying property.
