I would recommend saving at least 20% down, 12 months reserves and closing costs.

Willard,FHA has taken a bad rap over the years but to be honest it’s a great loan for anyone looking to use the banks money and keep your cash in the savings.

I'll gladly take that income later, when I'm in a lower tax bracket, such as retirement.

HI @Jacob KazmierskiI would suggest saving a certian % you fee comfortable with and then put the rest into a high yield savings account.

There is also about 40% less inventory for Condos than there is for Co-ops.If you're mainly looking to invest in an apartment to save on rent and learn the market, I'd recommend a small multifamily (2-4 unit) investment.
