It's pretty easy to see by these posts who has worked with General Contractors successfully and those who have not.When folks condemn a whole profession because they've been "burned" at some point in the past, it just shows how ignorant they are.Of course you need to research whomever you are considering working with and General Contractors are very easy to assess once you know what to look for.Instead of complaining after the fact, get better at conducting your own due diligence.Contractors, like ANY profession has some bad players, BUT it's your fault if you haven't done the proper research.Just a thought.

(I went to UofM Dearborn so I have basketball players rent out the bottom unit)The only thing that made it hard in Dearborn was how high insurance and property taxes are.

Anything later is considered as late.What no landlord should ever do is chase tenants around and pick up their rent payments.

However, I told them to work it out since I did not want to chase down rent from 2 different people.

If you were a baseball player, you start in the minors, then go the the big leagues. 

Chase says 25% down and the only way to vest the LLC is with a jumbo loan.

OK, cut to the chase.

Side-skirting booking engines from the big players like Travelclick and Synxis would be a huge money saver.  

That way you learn some of the players and systems.
