It is the no prepayment that gives me some pause, but I am planning on pulling the trigger.  

A chapter 7 is just a brief pause in the FCL cycle, file for relief of stay and move forward.

But these concerns would give me pause when considering holding long term. 

Seller's market for us still in DFW, although I would say there is some pause in the market for about a month now.I think seller's still think they are going to get 25% over already optimistic price, and they may still sell over ask, but maybe not that much over any more.Some buyers still feeling the shock of interest rates.   

The trend hasn’t even gone ‘public’ yet…these were just buyers sidelined at 7%+ rates and paused due to the impending doom..Pending a major unexpected socioeconomic interruption I’ll hypothesize rates touch below 6% for extremely well qualified buyers and there’s a brief stampede of sales through end of Spring/Summer.  

The only thing there that makes me pause for a second is the property taxes in some areas of San Antonio. 

The mall area is Pooler and it is exploding, or was, a bit of a pause now and time will tell how much it slowed but overall it's not going to shrink.

Especially if the best property you find is close to a touristy area.A reasonable number of monthly rentals can often earn more than a full-time renter, and with short-term rentals you always have the ability to put rentals “on pause” when you will be out of town or just need a break.Look at “Upward Trend” NeighborhoodsSome neighborhoods might not look great now, but have clear signs of improving.
