My personal opinion is owning your home outright is an amazing feeling and impressive feat.

The question is how is the profile of the state in regards to landlords, growth for the economy, supply of land, and is this house attractive enough on the exit to garner an aggressive bid if you were to sell in the next up market cycle in 7, 12, 15, 21 or whatever years?

Does the owner of the business always have to personally guarantee the loan with their credit profile?

I believe there is information on each of the persons profile that I mentioned.

I got the impression his partner wanted to do financing through them over 15 years and the main investor wanted to buy outright… i assume that’s why it fell through. if we sold the place to an investor, we’d need to sell outright and would need the money upfront (instead of financing).
