Ryan DosseyIf you have insulated and moved the drainage plane exterior of the brick wall, making the brick a thermal mass within the conditioned space, then there is no significant penalty for exposing the wall.However, if the brick wall being exposed is still an external wall or it is a thermal bridge to an external wall, you would effectively be removing any insulation between yourself and the outside world.

The only thing that the insulation is doing is slowing down the loss of heat energy, which on the external part of your faucet is very minimal.

I was told by the one friend that being an African America had a negative effect on his ability to List properties, even among African American Home Owners.To this day I fully believe that my success in NYC considering my poor immigrant ethnicity is more about my Street Smarts than my Intellect.I easily beat out my colleagues who worked with me at the best financial firms (including the Federal Reserve Bank of NY) in net worth, not because I am more intelligent than they are but because I used my street smarts to avoid external problems like racial disadvantages.This could all be self-delusion on my part..... but that's the way I played it in the 20 years I have been Investing.Now I'm on top of the food chain so much that I even have a wealth manager!

This approach led me to a dead-end as entry prices for most of the deals are above my financial capabilities (put aside financing from external source).Now I've started looking at 2nd and 3rd tier states (no offense) and later on focusing on metropolitans / big cities within those states (micro approach), but I think this strategy is not good either.Maybe the correct strategy is moving back and forth between micro and macro levels to provide winning formula for "correct" market.What would you suggest ?
