I would also give them 24 hours notice of your intent to inspect the rental for potential water leaks, toilets that flush, etc.

Tenant  was complaining the crapper wasn’t flushing right so I had my handyman go fix The old toilet and he cleaned crusty poop out from under the rim with his hands while the tenant stood and watched .. he got the pressure working and flush returned .
