@Robert BladeIn general, lenders want to see monthly housing debt of no more than 28%-33% of your income and total debt of no more than 38% of your income.The rental income should be ~80% supposedly your current rental income to account for vacancy etc, If you are government employees guarantee for perpetual income want to work another 10-15 years you can be a bit aggressive on total debt.

We own a vertically integrated real estate firm with 80 employees and will surpass 200 million in assets under management by the end of this year.If you want to do what I do absolutely start small and use your own money before taking others' capital. 

If you open your own brokerage, you will be in charge of marketing, hiring new employees, getting a space, the list goes on.Make sure you understand what will go into it, and if you think you can continue your success while getting some agents under you to make your business thrive. 

I have set up a Single member LLC for him, and am wondering if I should put him on payroll with his other employee(s), what would be the best thing to do as far as taxes and accounting go?

Maybe getting further out in the path of progress where those employees may be looking to live would be a good path.

they are usually paid for performance.. but some bigger outfits actually bring them in as employees with bonuss'everyone has to eat and pay for gas.

Okay, back in April of this year I was working for a PM company as an employee and a vendor is asking me for my help.

However, this is not a common request at these stores and HD/lowes don't teach their employees how to set up orders like this but be persistent.
