I'm new to this realm and am trying to understand and digest process, procedure and terminology to help me on my venture in investing.

You need to ask "why" not "how", when you understand why, you will understand how.You do eat an elephant one bite at a time, but no one wants to eat the whole elephant because there are parts of it you can't eat, you can't digest it all!

Welcome @Jeremy Isaac , be sure to check out the learn section above, it loaded with great information, it took me months to digest it all.

@Ed Navarro link upwith your local REIA group, a landlord group in your area, agents and all the forum post and podcast you can digest on multifamily investing.

I have been a BP lurker for the better part of a year, digesting the amazing content that BiggerPockets (and all of its members) provides, but realized that I had never actually posted an official introduction...I am, for lack of a better term, an "accidental investor" - when my wife and I moved up here in 2013 I started renting out our home in Charleston, and about a year ago, my grandmother passed away and willed me a single family home in New Orleans that was also being rented out.

Hello,New to BP, great site with lots of info to digest.

The site is easy to use and the info is pretty easy to digest.

I'm still learning the ins and outs of this (being an accidental investor and having a full time job) but I'm just digesting as much as possible and it's really interesting.

You will need to start from the forum and resource areas..then the podcasts..loads of loads of vital materials to digest!..
