If I hired a PM that would also take care of collections (among other things) would I still need a service like rent redi?

It will not work here, it might save you a little time, but will just collect similar data which is not necessarily accurate.

If you went to court you would be awarded money for their gossip that you'd likely never collect and you would be SPENDING MONEY to have a lawyer draft a NDA and to take them to court.
