We are building 2 and are interested in more. 

We are planning to manage the property we are leaving and we are probably going to hire someone to paint the inside.

But we are only a handful properties and it’s completely doable to do your own tenant placement. 

We aren't even implementing what we learned because we are too busy dealing with a personal issue and haven't been able to travel much for the last couple of years.

We are thinking of pivoting to long or medium term renting but not sure. 

However, I cannot speak to apartments, as this depends on the individual complex.Additionally, we are finding a small number of properties for sale where the seller is willing to contribute to the buyer's closing costs.

Husband and I have a 1100 square foot home we are trying to sell.

I often have heard excuses of "oh it's easy for them/you because you have...." when truth is it's these disciplines that got us to where we are, not the other way around.     

This is unchartered territory for us--we are fortunate to have had only responsible and trustworthy agents in our past. 

We are considering moving into our 1031 property and making it our primary residence.
