A lot of people tout the AirBnB numbers and talk about crushing it compared to long-term rentals.

Most of the sites you visit tout buying real estate, then refer you to the IRS pubs.

The guys who tout that are usually single, but a few are married even fewer have kids. 

Then for the next few years, their news commercials touted, "we were the only station to predict the storm of 2005".

All the residency status issues being touted here don't help the OP unless the INS goes and and picks him up from the condo.  

Wait until you have broken granite countertops, holes in every wall and door, or 3 inches of water through tout the house. 

That person, and their relative "everyone", as in "everyone knows", are touted as being great experts...but they are not. 

It's not very difficult to see (for me, at least) how many of these left-leaning tenant laws subscribe to the ideas touted by socialism, which is an idea borne by those with a liberal mindset regarding society.
