Someone can be a brilliant tax person but horrible to work with, and also vice versa. 

A Mentor – I am new to the area and hoping to find someone to learn from and help that knows the area well and can guide me in the right direction.2.

I want to start smart and scale up as I learn the ropes, but I’m personally struggling to narrow down which area to focus on.If you’ve done this before, what advice would you give someone like me?

Submitting a form D to the SEC is negligible and then each state someone is in that invests you must file a form d in that state as well which can bea  few bucks to a few hundred bucks.Where you will incur the greatest cost is raising the actual capital and marketing etc. 

This question seem pretty naïve for someone that's flipped about 30 houses. 

I hope it inspires someone who has been afraid to get started or questioned whether they should stick with it.

I don't know if they still do it but if memory serves a few years ago TD Bank would do a HELOC on a rental in second position but only if it was titled in someone's personal name.
