The way I see it, it would make more sense to do it in house once I've got a little more money to spend on equipment and the ability to mail to a lot more addresses without missing a ton of calls from motivated sellers.Account Closed Thats low compared to some of the big name services!

Just know what you're buying as there's still a lot of FP panels, 60 amp service, aluminum wiring, asbestos tiles/tape, and plaster & lathe walls.  

However, you can only claim depreciation once the property is "placed in service" (i.e., rented).

Don't just look at their prices, also look at their services and compare them to the competition. 

Syndicators can negotiate terms and rates that are impossible otherwise, including on portfolio terms as in that banking entity is holding/servicing the financing themselves, on there books, not originating and selling it off. 

Video is even better, if professionally done.Most of our travelers that are coming from any distance are happy enough for great pictures and good customer service to rent.

You could make 5% in another investment but if energy prices spike 20% next year the solar panels have done you a great service by taking that inflation risk away.
