And I hate to get political on this wonderful forum, but the idea was fabricated by paranoids and liberals who hate progress and want to end all technology forever so that we can resume our "natural state" of walking around on our knuckles naked like our ape-ish predecesors (or adam and eve).

The City's agenda is obviously to get more landlords to sign up for Section 8, and they do so  by being open/liberal about landlords justifying increasing rent to current market.

@Ethan Cooke all the SF RC regulations still apply- like tenants ability to add roommates as they wish, without your explicated permisssion as long as they don't over crowd, which is liberally defined.

If it covers much of the costs be thankful, if it produces a profit as well you gambled and hit the jack pot.
