If you do work with a broker understand, you set the tone, you set the criteria and let them know that you will interview only those qualified, like that you are not wasting time.

I have personally had many DISASTROUS experiences in owning such properties, and I hate to see others go through such things.That said, if you are convinced that you are going to do so, I'd conduct many interviews with local property management firms, and do a LOT of checks on references, etc.Good luck to you and I hope to see you around BiggerPockets!

You can get a rough idea of cost and interview 3-4 roofers for price of a "square" over the phone in about 1 hour.

You can be scared about trying to become a nurse, a job interview to be a bank teller, etc.
