@Mark Ainley I had this for a fence that was existing prior to me buying the property but mine was a 7 foot fence (actually 6 feet with 1 foot of an add on lattice thing) and I got a permit violation.

As opposed to people who buy a rehab and have to rush since every minute is costing them money....If course, this exposes to long term risk since nobody knows what happens in March 2019 (may prices could level off or come down) but at least you have your foot in the door.

It would not surprise me if many of these houses are rental houses.The challenge you will have is that houses in this neighborhood sell for about $60 per square foot and the cost of new construction is significantly higher.
