(Lisbon - Portugal specifically)Also, for those who are not interested in investing in smaller projects or BRRR methods and are more keen to invest anywhere from 1-50 Million, in ready projects like hotels, or bigger apartment units in Lisbon.

Now, onto the million-dollar question: How does one embark on a real estate journey with pockets as empty as my social calendar on a Saturday night?

Myself I've made millions working in Section 8 properties, but I'm a savage so dealing with these savage Section 8 tenants is what I do.

So for every Million you get $4167/mn to use as income.

There are several deals floating around but the one I can give rough details as an example is a commercial builidng where 20% is being put down on a 2.5 million dollar asset between 3 TIC equity/capital investors that are each providing roughly a third of the equity.

My team works in the apartment space, primarily at the JV level (5-30 units value add under 2 million) but we also do sydications for larger deals. 

It's easy to find beautiful victorians for $300,000 that would cost $1 million in my market.

These properties were not distressed quite the opposite.. but they had 100k to 3 to 5 million of standing Timber on them that if we could purchase our Timber deed we could turn those trees to cash within 90 days..PS I had created a hand made custom data base of properties  10 acres or more not corporately owned that Aerial Photogramy show Standing Timber of an Age we deemed Merchantable.
