The second issue is a liability as, in theory, the LLC provides a layer of protection in that the potential claimant can't penetrate into your personal assets; the LLC would simply file bankruptcy, and that would be it.

That is moisture penetrating the stucco from either not being sealed properly when first painted or the stucco cured to quick when first applied.

Drill dowels in to the basement wall (right above the batten bar, don't penetrate the waterproofing layer) to make a rigid connection for your new slab to tie-in.
