I challenged the company, suggesting that they can't possibly be making 2000 calls each day and speaking to ~200 prospects per day, generating only 3 leads in a span of 1 week.

Develop a system and checklist.  

When I search properties mainly in Punta Cana I always run into sites where condos are in development and have about 1 - 2 years till completion.

The reason why "large developers"  finance their real estate with ease is (1) track record; (2) balance sheet/liquidity;  (3) Global Cash Flow.

Its those kind of brokerages that work with investors developers builders etc etc.

Most investors at these events are helpful and good people to get to know and develop a relationship with. 

having that out of the way, let’s discuss the type of market that provides the best value add prospects.  

The population is growing, there's tons of development opportunities, and a nice mix of industries - tech, healthcare, manufacturing, etc.

Add to that insurance costs, etc. and it's not looking good.However; what Trump can do that will help is to cut out some of the environmental regulations, etc. that drive the costs of development up.
