I know this is not what you are asking, but I would take a look at the QB desktop version also if you are planning to buy more houses.

It would also be nice if there is a desktop interface as well.What’s out there that does this, or something similar?

Reputable lender who is easy to work with on front-end & also on an ongoing basis during servicing - no bait & switch soft quote then change terms, no loan to own type outfits/predatory loan docs, streamlined annual reporting, etc. 2. low long term rate (preferably 30 yr locked fully amortizing), 3. ability to harvest some built-up equity w/cash out (not necessarily max this out would run numbers on various scenarios), 4. then several other secondary-level type terms to consider in overall picture: competitive upfront fees/closing costs, pre-payment penalty length/terms, recourse/non-recourse, assumable/not assumable, max LTV, desktop vs full appraisals, etc. 

I do use desktop but not nearly as heavily although it is more convenient

If the amount of the HELOC is less than 200k, they will only do a "desktop appraisal", they look at the "taxable value" and give you 75% of that amount.

I have researched how to set it up but it is a bit over my head with some tutorials citing the desktop version versus online.

Agreed, on desktop the forums are much more tedious to scroll through.

Did not encounter it on my desktop, but seems to be fairly consistent on mobile whether I am using mobile Firefox or Chrome and I even tried Opera Mini to use BP on the go.
