There are whole nation states that live in denial (a friend of a friend recently called the USA a "shining beacon of compassion" in the world and told me that it was inappropriate for me to bring up Japanese-American internment camps and two atoms bombs dropped on civilian populations as a counterexample to what he was saying), so is it so strange that these people just cut themselves off from dealing openly with their financial problems or making rational decisions about strategies to avoid foreclosure?

Those employees due work for the Army however in the non traditional capacity as civilians and contractors.  

Not much to add to the above discussion but my brother first moved to Ridgecrest in the mid 1980's and worked as a civilian on the base. 

Noisy inhabitants in the unit above is going to be a challenge for you. 

I work a civilian government job which is alright (get paid to live in Europe) but it still feels like work so I'd like to stop doing that.

If i purchase a tax deed property and pay all liens owed on the property do i now own this property/house and can i inhabit it?

Were there some things that were done without a permit that need to be corrected for the "safety" of the inhabitant?

I am really hoping to connect with some folks who are well versed in remote wholesale deals, so that I can try to get a start while i'm on deployment (Army pay doesn't begin to touch my civilian salary and i'll be in a bind before too long).Regardless of how this turns out, I'm excited to be here, and I look forward to learning and growing through the information I gather on BP.
