There are likely other investors (or would-be investors) who have the same thoughts as you.If you partner with someone, you're not just giving them a blank check.

No third party to that.The Promissory Note should be endorsed "Pay to the Order of ________" where the blank is the OP.

We are minimizing, but not eliminating risk.The problem is, on those occasions when things go wrong, we tend to be even more loss averse than we are risk averse.  

I've done it for clients on many occasions.

Its just blank on the name and address.
