Final thought: The 50% more profit from STR vs Long term rentals seems pretty glamorous...it’s like gambling at a casino and hitting 7’s....and then the dealer changes (regulation/inventory)There are over 2M STR listings in the US alone.

Most of it though, was spent on STUPID stuff - several visits to casinos to "live large", eating out almost every lunch & dinner, several beauty treatments, buying a bunch of online movies, etc.

Glenn Plantone has put together a club called "Millionaire Real Estate Club" meeting once per month at the Orleans Hotel and Casino just off the strip.

The AC area ones about 80% of revenue is drawn during peak season, but there are still some bookings that come in for Casino, concert, etc. 

I would assume they would be kind of strict due to the high concentration of large hotel companies and casinos.

There was some research on this think it was Zillow article and Facebook IPO.If I remember right a few neighborhoods saw a slight increase...I wouldn't buy a house looking to sell after IPOs...if you want to gamble buy stocks or go to the casino.

the only true shortcut i'd consider is luck. right place, right time, right people, right roulette pick, right day for that Vegas casino trip, right stock pick... you get the idea.
