Hi Srushti,Some people jump in the water and know how to swim and some jump in the water and do not know how to swim.Like any other business you need to know what you are doing.Now you have retained the services of someone who you believe knows what they are doing to assist you.And for these services there is a cost.Some people (owner/operators) do the work themselves to lower the cost (somewhat).In this business you will have anticipated costs and unanticipated costs--it's not a magic profit genie.Sometimes you just have to write checks to get what you want.Just my 2 cents.

Besides a decent, competitive wage what other benefits and bonuses do you offer your staff (both to retain them and to hire them)?

Lastly I am a little wary of this property because the lot retains water so during heavy raining though it doesn't go to the house does make the backyard rather unusable.

Can I still take a delayed financing loan out while still retaining a certain amount of equity in the home if my appraisal after repairs is higher than the my initial investment in the property.

My understanding is that their retainers are around $10,000, and while I am sure they are well worth it, we are just getting started and probably don’t need that level of caliber yet.
