On the 14th she asked me to give her a 3 day notice to vacate because no organizations were willing to help without it, but I didn't provide one because I had moved her due date to the 18th so she wasn't late yet. 

Hi All,  I have a single family home that has been a long term rental I am weighing thoughts of cashing out vs renting it again as tenants vacate end of this month.  

It just so happens that rather than buying a car and paying for a family vacation, the DIL is going to purchase an investment property 3 months after receiving her gift, albeit it from MIL.

I own real estate outside of CA, both in the country and internationally but have chosen to rent in Hermosa Beach due to the high cost to buy a home in coastal southern California.The apartment complex I live in was bought April 1st by an private equity company who gave all the residents a 60 day notice to vacate so they could due a total rehab.   

This was our vacation home, and we are turning it into a STR.

My STR'S are all vacation rentals so I would absolutely want a bedroom over an office.
