In our experience, the S8 guru/scammers promote buying Class D properties and then renting them out to S8 voucher holders.It takes a lot of hustle and probably legally bribing the tenant with an appliance or two, to get them to move into a bad area.No telling how long they will stay either.

Looking at this picture I'm wondering if you could hang a small weight to add some down force to the chain, at the off chance this is some crazy physics anomaly that's causing the chain to perfectly float up and get caught, the weight would help promote it back down....

Now that Fannie/Freddie have gone back to 5% down on multi units, as long as you have good scores and dti, conventional may be the best option.Be careful of lenders promoting no PMI options.
