Hello everyone, I have seen in this forum a lot of people who have experience and passion.I am also passionate and want to invest in real estate for the long term.

Holding properties in all cash early in an investment career is missing out of leverage returns.

So we shall elucidate five myths and truths about investing in them.Myth 1: Distressed Properties Are Always Money PitsMost people think that distressed properties require major renovations, which wipe out profit returns.

This is a catchphrase that people started using a few years back.

And I 100% believe for average people owning real estate over a 10 year time horizon is the best opportunity to bring wealth, freedom and margin to their life. 

This was my first investment property and I had a poor inspector who missed all the electrical and even though the roof had about 5 years left my insurance company made me do that.

I see people purchasing new STR's here and others dumping their properties or converting into LTR's. 

The past 3 people who did that have either continued to be demanding or have had their contracts "canceled" and I have to work to get the money in the long run.
