Year over year rent growth is over 6% as well. 

I keep hearing that it makes sense to focus on markets that have strong economic and population growth, but there's really no overlap between population growth, economic growth, low prices, and low taxes.So my question really is, what's the best way to get out of this?

With more growth, rising prices, and development in suburban areas will we ever see cities return to what they were?

Real Estate has always and will always be about slow generational growth.  

As a new investor focus on Equity growth over time and you will be rich. 

However Id like to know what are some data points and minimum criteria you look at in a market (like a 1% job growth YoY) to feel informed on your decision making processalso if you go to the area what are some things you look for physically that would be a good sign
