ALSO, homeless came in and stripped the whole home with copper and most likely camped in it while it was uninhabited...I will update the post with numbers as soon as possible.

@Lacey Hunter I think much of it has to do with there being a huge supply of product available right now and the market is responding to this.I also think that Seattle is no longer the desirable city it once was, and people are looking in other areas that don’t have the problems seattle has: homelessness / heroin, terrible traffic, terrible schools, anti-business government, etc

This is what happens.When times get bad people tend to bunch up, (two or three families in a unit sometimes) relatives and friends.Some live outdoors and either survive or perish or end up in jail (trespass, theft, drugs, on the taxpayers dime).Some live in their vehicles until the police seize them for unpaid registration or unpaid insurance and they they are outside (as above).Some go to homeless shelters, some go on section-8 (which can take years in some cases with waiting lists going to preferential groups first).And some move to areas with more employment opportunities and start working there.Just my 2 cents.

At my properties in the worst neighborhood, I had 6 trash cans stolen in one year-- probably by the homeless in the tent city down the street for collecting recycling.

The thing I did is know how much I could lose without making my family (wife and kids) homeless.
