-Paint the cabinets white (do this myself for the cost of chalk paint)-New hardware on the cabinets, do this myself (Couple of hundred dollars?)

They do not have any hardware attached to the back.

Flooring, cabinets, hardware.. and if you'll let me add a 4th, lighting fixtures! 

If you take it apart for this, expect some of those rusty screws to strip out or break.  99% of the time, you can replace these with hardware-store parts - use stainless steel, if you're feeling really generous

I brought my cousin (from the bay area) to come down and remodel the entire condo.He removed the popcorn ceiling, carpet, old windows, cabinets, vanities, showers and added tile, windows, cabinets and all new hardware/appliances.

The general store may not have it, but the hardware store might, and an appliance parts store definitely will.  

This is an area where you will pay $100 just to save $1.(3) Don't try to go cheap with the electrical and plumbing hardware. 

No new kitchen yet, but floors, paint, hardware, appliances, etc.

I would rather use my knowledge than my wallet when buying assets.# 2.
