My biggest question now is: What do I do once (if) I settle/close on this house?

People still sleep on the area and it is very close to Nor CA but has a lot of different benefits with similar appreciation.

UpdatesI have two BIG updates, I actually just closed on a home not for airbnb but for myself in an area I have been trying to buy for a year but investors have been bidding on houses like crazy in the area.

Years ago as a commercial RE broker, I once had a client try to close on a commercial property using cash.

You’ll need to find a GC on board with the extra paperwork and a seller willing to accept a longer closing time.   

We still owe roughly $900K on a 3% mortgage.We’re planning to retire abroad and are weighing two options:1.Sell the home – I already have a buyer lined up, so this would be a straightforward exit.2.Rent it out long-term (furnished) – While I don’t think the rent will fully cover the mortgage, it might come close.

All will be delivered vacant, apparently I missed the piece in my offer that allows the seller to stay in the unit up to 7 days after closing... 

From October to late November the mountain is closed.

I closed two properties last night actually, both move-in ready, fully updated and rented.
