Virtually only ones to have not done well in San Diego RE were those over leveraged at inopportune times.If you want To invest in San Diego, I suggest you save more before starting.  

It's not an effective strategy but a lot of investors believe throwing in high end appliances in itself secures a buyer.

I suggest to save up for 6-12 months while learning the market better or partner with someone who has the cash while you do the legwork.

I would also suggest doing something about a water dispenser on the fridge not working.
